You are reading Cat's Blog!
(Yup, still copying Fang!)

Anyway, thanks to anyone who voted! So, we had a tie between books and more of things that go on in my life.
So I'll do both!
Books:
Currently, I am reading The Morganville Vampire Series by Rachel Caine. I'm on the second book, The Dead Girls' Dance. I recently finished the first, Glass Houses, and get the feeling I may need the thid (Midnight Alley) soon. Its main character is sixteen-year-old brainiac, Claire Danvers, who is a freshman in college. She's ragged on by this total bee-yotch, Monica Morrell, Mayor's daughter. And early in the book, Monica literally tries to kill Claire, so she moves off-campus into the Glass House, occupied by Eve; a goth-dressing, easy-crying, but all-around awesome person, Michael; a mysterious hottie who literally dissappears at sunrise, and Shane, the lazy hottie with a darker past than you'd think. It's from there she learns about the dangerous vampires that rule the town. And not much longer 'til thoose vampires start to cause trouble.

That's like, the beginning of Glass Houses, and I'm not spoiling the rest. Nor will I continue to butcher the book with my crappy descriptions. Just, beleive me, it's a good book.

Now onto today's awful events:

11-18-09

In choir, my teacher thought it'd be this great idea to change our seats.
And I got stuck between two of the most stereotypical, air-headed, annoying, shallow cheerleaders you'll ever meet. The one on my left kept whining about how she hated her seat and she wasn't near her friends, so I finally can't take it any more and I'm like "Well, maybe I'm not too thrilled about my seat, either."

To which, her oh-so-genius comeback was "Well... you just shut up!"

Thank God for her the bell rang or she'd have tasted my fist!!!

The bus was pretty cool. I talked to my awesome friend, then got home and decided today was blog-worthy. So thank you all my lovelies who took the time to read this!!

Fly on,
Cat

A Day In The Life Of A Crazy Person

Welcome! You Are Readong Catherine's Blog.

You're probably wondering why I wrote that. To which I have a reason. Sorta. Mostly, I have no idea what I'm doing, and in the Maximum Ride books, Fang's blod entries always say 'Welcome! You Are reading Fang's Blog' so I did that and used my name, since it seemed like something I should do haha.

And, since I'm no Fang, and have no idea what I'm doing, I'll start off with describing my crazy day.

Date: 10-27-09

So it started off pretty suckish.
I woke up from a dream about one of my teachers giving a lecture on how to properly apply a shoe (thoughout said dream I'm thinking 'WTF, Mr. Bishop?????') and was really tired.
And the bus ride kinda sucked until my friend got on, and we started saing random crap.
But once I actually got to school was when all hell broke loose.
Today and yesterday, we had stanford Testing, which is a fancy word for four hours of torture.
Today we had TWO math tests, which of course was awful. And then three easier ones.
On the bright side, once I finished testing, I got to read some of the book I'm reading, Tunnels Of Blood Which is the sequel to The Vampire's Assistant. Cirque Du Freak is pretty good, so if you need something, you may wanna look into it!
Anyway, next came lunch (Best part of the day)
in which I choked on something, and neither of my friends next to me noticed until I told them.
I decided that neither one of them should ever be either a doctor nor lifeguard.
I shudder at the thought of how many people at that pool would drown if they were on watch.
And, then, to keep going with my crappy day,
I had a headache.
In the words of Earl Hickey from My Name Is Earl, Karma likes to bite people in the butt for all the bad things they've done.
Thing is, I don't know why Karma was biting me today. Ha-ha.
And then, let's continue.
Yesterday and today, we only have four classes.
Yesterday, I had all my favorites.
Today, my least favorites.
In Art (ew) We had to draw 3-D pumpkins
Not something I have any talent for.
Mine looked more like a peach than a pumpkin in the end.
And then, I had a double period. Reading and Language arts.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a bookworm.
But when I'm not the one choosing the book, I get cranky.
Especially when it's not Fantasy or sci-fi.
In the book we're reading,
The Characters are okay, but the plot gets old after a while.
Then I had chorus.
And sixty kids singing when You have a headache...
Well, let's just say I hope none of you has to endure it.
When the bell finally rang, I was a happy girl.
And then on the bus, I was talking to Kenzie and txting Hanna, and things were okay.
Until Bradley stole my phone anf sent 'F*** You' To Hanna, and I had to explain as I finally reached my stop and took a headache pill at my house.
Now here, my lovely readers, is the fun part of my day.
I came in, went online for a while, got a snack, and went to sleep in my room.
Sleeping off a headache is the best cure.
When I woke up,
My Dad told me he was going to Mc Donald's and I told him what I wanted.
And while he was gone, one of my favorite movies was on! (Underworld: Evolution)
So I watched that, with the hot hybrid and the action and stuff, until he came back and changed the channel (But i have Underworld on DVD so iIwasn't too upset.)
And he ended up turning on My Name is Earl,
In which Darnell,, Earl, Randy and Joy were trying to convince a French guy that America was good.
Darnell was saying wars, and when he said '1812' Randy goes "Ooohhhh, we only won that one 18 to 12? Whew! That was a close war." I laughed at that for a loooong time.
I didn't know you could score points in a war.
So I guess Now you know some stuff insane people do.
I'll stop boring you know.

Fly On,
Cat

(Yeah, stole the 'Fly On' from Maximum Ride, too.)
